Design Build and HVAC Request for Proposal Preparation, West Hartford, CT

Oscar Gonzalez DDS needed to expand and the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall located on the corner of Boulevard and South Quaker in West Hartford was moving.

Along with L’Arc Architects we worked to totally convert the Kingdom Hall into a dental office. This type of conversion obviously required a complete gut rehab of the building with new roof lines and a change in building elevation.

Aztech Engineers, Inc. worked as a conceptual designer for the MEP systems in coordination with the dental equipment designer.

The natural cathedral ceiling expanded with some roof modifications was used to give an open feeling the office. Exposed spiral wound ductwork was used with creative equipment placement and routing to allow this aesthetic.
